Comprehensive Bore Plans Accessible via Driller's Remote Display

The integration of the TeraTrak® app with the DCI TeraTrak® R1 marks a significant advancement for HDD drillers, offering them detailed and actionable bore plans.

The recent update introduces an innovative feature: bore plans generated from the TeraTrak R1 can now be seamlessly transferred to DCI’s Aurora remote display. This development equips drill rig operators with a comprehensive overview of the subsurface environment, which encompasses their bore plan, marked utilities, required clearances, and a three-rod path projection. Such a tool enhances the ability to anticipate steering adjustments, thereby promoting efficiency and safety in drilling operations.

Real-Time Visualization of Job Sites

As operators navigate the DCI TeraTrak® R1 along the proposed bore path, the TeraTrak® app actively constructs a terrain map in real time. This functionality allows users to incorporate utilities, waypoints, and notes relevant to the crew's operational needs.

Users can tap and drag to any selected point on the mapped terrain to visualize specific elevation changes clearly. Both terrain maps and horizontal distances are readily accessible at a glance. Additionally, for an efficient evaluation of average pitch along the bore, TeraTrak® computes the pitch between two designated waypoints.
